Renewing and canceling services

How to renew a service early, switch billing cycles, cancel a subscription and understand refund eligibility.

WingNode services renew automatically by default. Here's how to change that behavior and cancel cleanly.

Renewing early

Open My Services → your service → Renew now. Pay the next cycle upfront — the renewal date is extended by one cycle.

Switching billing cycle

You can move from monthly → annual (or reverse) on renewal. The change applies at the next billing date — no proration on the current cycle.

Canceling a subscription

  1. Go to My Services.
  2. Open the service you want to cancel.
  3. Click Request Cancellation.
  4. Choose End of billing period (service stays active until the paid period ends) or Immediate (terminates now — no refund).

Data after cancellation

On cancellation we keep server data for 7 days in case you change your mind. After that the data is securely wiped. Download backups before canceling.

Refund eligibility

  • Within 72 hours of first payment on a new service — full refund, no questions asked.
  • After 72 hours — no refund on the current cycle; service stays active until cycle end.
  • Dedicated servers and custom plans are non-refundable due to hardware commitments.

Disputing a charge

If you see a charge you don't recognize, open a support ticket before initiating a chargeback. A ticket resolves 99% of cases within 24 hours.
