Bedrock Minecraft server hosting
Bedrock servers for Windows 10, mobile, Xbox and PlayStation players. WingNode supports official Bedrock dedicated, PocketMine-MP, and Geyser cross-play that bridges Java and Bedrock on one world.
Bedrock vs Java vs cross-play — which to pick
| Setup | Who can join | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Official Bedrock dedicated | Bedrock only (Windows 10, mobile, console) | Console-first communities |
| PocketMine-MP | Bedrock only + plugins | Plugin-heavy Bedrock servers |
| Paper + Geyser + Floodgate | Java AND Bedrock | Mixed communities (recommended) |
Geyser + Floodgate setup
The cross-play recommended path:
- Pick Paper or Purpur server jar
- Install Geyser plugin (one-click from panel)
- Install Floodgate plugin (one-click)
- Restart — your server now accepts Bedrock connections on port 19132 UDP and Java on 25565 TCP
Wingman AI walks you through this on first boot and configures the default port mappings.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run Java and Bedrock on one server?
Yes — install Geyser + Floodgate on a Paper or Purpur Java server. Bedrock players (mobile, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) connect through Geyser like it is a native Bedrock server. Floodgate handles the auth bridge so they do not need a Java account.
How is PocketMine different from Bedrock dedicated?
PocketMine-MP is a third-party Bedrock-compatible server written in PHP. It has rich plugin ecosystem and faster development cycle, but lags official Bedrock by a few weeks on new protocol versions. Official Bedrock dedicated is closer to feature-complete vanilla.
Do Xbox / PlayStation players need a special server type?
No — any Bedrock-compatible server works. They join via the standard Servers tab using your IP and port (default 19132 UDP).
What is the cheapest Bedrock plan?
Bedrock is generally less resource-hungry than Java, so the entry plan (2 GB) handles 5–10 players comfortably. Same pricing as Java tiers.
